Wills for the People was founded in 2024 on a simple belief: estate planning is for everyone—not just the white and wealthy. Our work is grounded in a commitment to advancing racial wealth equity and a clear-eyed understanding that Black and Brown women are often excluded from conversations about building and protecting wealth despite being the backbone of their families and communities. That’s unacceptable.

Many of our clients come to us confused by misinformation, overwhelmed by legal jargon, or unsure whether estate planning even applies to them.
