Atlanta Court Appointed Special Advocates (Atlanta CASA)
Atlanta CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children in foster care in Fulton County, Georgia. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers who are appointed by judges to serve as CASA advocates for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

CASA volunteers build consistent, caring relationships with the children they serve while gathering information from families, caregivers, schools, and service providers. They provide objective recommendations to the court to help ensure each child’s safety, stability, and opportunity to thrive. Through dedicated advocacy, CASA volunteers help move children more quickly into safe, permanent homes and supportive environments.

Atlanta CASA works in partnership with the Fulton County Juvenile Court, child welfare agencies, and community organizations to strengthen outcomes for vulnerable youth. Our model centers on individualized attention, trauma-informed advocacy, and community engagement to ensure that every child’s voice is heard.

Community members who live or work in Fulton County are invited to become CASA volunteers and make a direct, lasting difference in a child’s life. Training and ongoing professional support are provided.
